Privacy Policy — AutoPoster

AutoPoster ("the app", available at https://autoposting.pageviewbot.com) is a content-planning and publishing tool used by a Threads creator to manage their own Threads channel. This policy explains what data we process and why.

What we collect

• Threads access token — obtained via Meta OAuth when you connect your account, stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), used only to act on your behalf via the Threads API.
• Your own posts & their metrics (views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes) — to publish content and analyze engagement for your channel.
• Comments on your posts and your replies — to help you respond.
• Keyword search results — when you run a keyword search, public Threads posts matching that keyword are fetched and shown to you to inform your content; they are not stored long-term or redistributed.

How we use it

Solely to operate the service for your own channel: generate and publish posts, analyze your engagement, and research relevant topics. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Third parties

We send content to AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic) to draft and fact-check posts, and to Meta's Threads API to publish and read your content. We share data with no one else.

Retention & security

Data is kept only while your account is connected. Tokens are encrypted at rest; access is restricted to the account owner.
